We’ve been a bit radio silent here, but we haven’t just been laying around!
In June we attended and tabled at a fundraiser for the Edgewater Environmental Sustainability Project. We met some great folks there, who are dedicated to sustainable living at Uncommon Ground, the “greenest” restaurant in the country! Edgewater rules!
We also got a few press mentions in June (which we’ve begun to round up here): the Chicago Reader deemed us “Best Place to Fix Your Stuff for Free” in their “Best of” issue! And Ally had a very brief mention in this Wired article, which alludes to Community Glue Workshop, Kitchen Sink, and Stu Marsh. Hey, we’ll take it!
Our next Repair Clinic is soon! What do you need fixed? We’ll be at Kitchen Sink from 4pm-7pm on July 21 — all are welcome!
