Happy Holidays! Next repair clinic is Sunday, January 29th. We’ll fix your post-holiday trauma (or we’ll at least get to wield our soldering guns while trying).

Come on over, bring some hot tea or cider, tell us all about it and we’ll fix you and your belongings right up. Event is free, as always. No drop-offs – you have to stay with your item(s) while we work on them, but why wouldn’t you want to see that magic in action?

I have a couple of old 50’s blond wood cabinet doors I would like to sand to bare wood and paint white lacquer . Want to learn how to use hand sander . Can you sand and paint or at least get me started. Would like to change knobs as well.

Unfortunately, we can’t do any kind of refinishing work at the clinic due to the mess it makes and the time limitations. We’ve done fixes on broken chairs and drawers, etc., but that’s more our jam. Changing the knobs should be a snap, but you may want to wait to do that after you refinish things.
