Wooooeee, that was an aerobic clinic! In three hours, nine of us completed 32 repairs and called time of death (or recommended replacement parts) for five additional items.
A sampling of repairs included: an heirloom Winnie the Pooh lamp, Kitchenaid mixer, a zillion pairs of women’s pants, a velvet chair, a portable heater, worn out socks, a chess piece, a fiber optic tree light, and so much more.
We also managed to honor National Hot Sauce Day amid the sewing and testing and clamping.
This is our 10th year of fixing literally anything that’s dragged through the door (we’ve seen some stuff, y’all)—and I’m frankly really proud that we continue to do so much and that we do it so damned well.
